Attività di ricerca
Elia Bari, PhD, is a researcher at the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Piemonte Orientale in Novara, Italy. He obtained his pharmacy degree in 2016 and completed his PhD in Chemical and Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2020 at the University of Pavia, where he continued his postdoctoral training until 2022. His research focuses on the development and optimization of pharmaceutical dosage forms, with applications ranging from tissue engineering to the treatment of rare, autoimmune, and musculoskeletal diseases. Dr. Bari’s current work studies the therapeutic potential of secretomes derived from mesenchymal stem cells for treating both human and veterinary diseases, as well as extracellular vesicles from various animal and plant sources for drug delivery applications. In addition, his research investigates the use of silk proteins – sericin and fibroin – to create micro and nanoparticles for drug delivery, as well as 3D scaffolds for tissue regeneration and drug screening
